About Fox Analytic
Fox Analytic was founded by Colin Towers.
With 18 years practical experience on the bench as an analytical chemist in the private contract sector, Colin served his time doing high throughput sample analysis, method development and validation, troubleshooting, instrument qualification, training and process review / improvement. This was all achieved within a varied, high pressure, commercial, regulated environment requiring a high level of experience, technical skill and creativity.
He lectured to honours degree students of all levels in analytical chemistry for three years as part of the forensic teaching team at University of West of Scotland, whilst continuing to work part-time in private industry. Specialising in the analysis of controlled substances and analytical toxicology, with a significant emphasis on modern practical skills such as HPLC, GC-MS and SPE.
In addition, Colin is also a qualified pharmacist.
